Bridget is a supremely gifted tutor and facilitator, taking us all with her with ease on our doula journey. From walking the extraordinary labyrinth to chatting cosily by the fire, from theoretical education with the Birth Atlas to learning practical support and massage techniques, every part of this well-planned weekend was a delight. I am from the UK, and a testament to the strength of the course is that I now have a whole bunch of new Irish friends! Thank you so much Bridget. I found the content really interesting, I particularly loved the idea of using the labyrinth for birth and also really enjoyed the various massaging techniques that we learned. Something that has also really stuck with me was the meditation you did to help us relate to how a newborn must feel. The way the information was taught was really interesting .
Deirdre ' I enjoyed the labyrinth & role play - actually I DIDN'T - I found them hugely challenging but enjoyed working through and understanding their teaching...the teachings from this course will stay with me for a long time - I don't think you could squeeze any more out of a weekend if you tried! I enjoyed all of it, it was so informative and really gave me the tools to go forward as a birth doula with confidence - I got great value for money and Bridget is a great mentor. I feel her no nonsense approach to life is very valuable - I wouldn't want to change one thing on this course. 2016
I couldn't understand how the Labyrinth would work before hand, ..I found it v. instructive, I learned a lot and felt I really did go on a journey. It was a good introduction to the course. Really good value for money, I had a great weekend, learned loads, grew as a person I think, met some great women and had lots of fun too! Kinlough, 2016

I really enjoyed the whole course, but particularly the Labyrinth, my first walk around was a self journey, my thoughts and emotions of the birth process, but then it became the base to the whole course/journey.

The variety of teaching methods used eg discussion,role play, game, dvd and guest speaker, not to mention the outside walks was very good!
I would have liked more time to learn everything Bridget has to teach! The value for money was very very reasonable. This course will be hugely valuable to all women in our community. We all need to be aware of our journey's and to know how to support other women with their births.

The Labyrinth was a powerful experience and one that I will draw on in the future. Enjoyed the whole experience of the course and learned a lot. Particularly amazed with the amount of things you can do as a Doula to turn the event of ceasarean birth into a positive birthing experience. I would absolutely recommend this course to someone else.
I enjoyed the group work, the role play and the relaxation.
This course is certainly worth the money and if I have it available I would certainly be glad to come again for a subsequent weekend.

I think the course is good value, and the benefit of women getting together and sharing knowledge and experience in an informal setting can't be overrated!
